Good report @wookinpanub
The route sounds exhilarating and fun to attempt. And you didn't fall over so that's nice. I'll be searching for a video on this just to see what it's like.
I grew up in Sask. North Battleford area farm kid. I'm now in the Edmonton AB area. Did you visit the tenere700.net site? And where are you in Saskatchewan?
Hello @AddyRuckus . Nice super 10 you scooped up. I hope you get your T7 and get to keep your S10. Try logging into tenere700.net for a lot more information (if you haven't already). Where in Canada are you located?
Welcome aboard.
I use 5W-40 full synthetic oil. I would use 10W-30 synthetic however it is difficult to find at a decent price. Keep in mind the riding temperature of your area. I'm in Central Alberta, Canada where the temps don't get outrageously high all the time. It's usually a little cool here.
Welcome...
I looked at the break down for removing the fuel tank side covers and it appears they are using 2 projections inserted into 2 holes and it needs to be forced off straight towards you. Grab the top sides and pull as that's where the fasteners are located. Hope this helps.
Hi @electric_monk . I haven't removed mine yet but I do have a service manual that I would love to send you that shows you the exploded view of the parts of all areas of the bike with instructions on how to perform various maintenance. It's very good to have. PM an email address and I'll send...
You may need an electric or air impact wrench with the proper size socket to remove the front sprocket. Just a heads up. I would put my KLX front wheel against the cement wall in my garage, put it in gear and then remove it.
