Had to leave the S10 home last weekend to put a 1000kms on the Mini T. Love it. Can't wait to get out again this weekend!

I think there will be quite a few of us S10 owners with new T7s. I'd also guess many will be hangin' on to their 'ol S10. I know the differences are obvious with the two bikes, but I'd love to hear a few words on how your 1000 kms on the Mini T went.

So the mini T is MUCH lighter on its feet than the Super T. I really like them both, but for gravel/forestry roads and dual track the Mini T is the one! Stock tires are crap. Have a set of E07's in the garage waiting for some time to put them on. Right bar buzzes badly (left is fine) on the road at about 110-120kms. Had 2 mini T's out last weekend and both did it. Throttle hand goes to sleep! Have Bark Busters coming for mine, so we'll see if mounting them up fixes it. If not, out comes the tube of silicone... Throttle response and performance I would say rivals the Super T. Has much shorter legs than the Super T, but is quick off the mark and easily runs 5-6th gear around town and pulls clean up to highway speed. Passes on the highway with no trouble. Only saw 130kms for a quick squirt as I'm still breaking it in. Grab and handful and you are around any cager/truck at highway speed. Mileage was about 4.4 L/100kms at 110-115 kms giving me a solid 300kms before the reserve light/counter came on. Put another 30kms on after to get to a gas station and it took 11.6L. I have a Rotopax fitted, and would easily plan for a 350-375km (maybe 400!) ride before requiring a fill up with the stock tank, having the rotopax in reserve. On the gravel forestry road at 80-90kms, mileage meter was showing 3.6-3.8L/100, so will go much farther at a slower speed. Heading out for a couple hundred more kms tomorrow with the new Rally seat on, so will see how that goes. Stocker was OK, but put too much bend in my knees, so the Rally should be perfect.

Congrats on your new bike and welcome from Texas.
I have a claim # for one and hope I get mine in the first USA batch.
