Hello from New Mexico

Bought a T-7 last summer moving on from a R1200GS. The GS was a terrific bike but at 63YO it seemed to get heavier off road each year. Love the T-7.

Welcome aboard @NM Dan . I just joined today as well. The tenere700.net site seems to have closed up shop for now so I thought I'd check in here. I hope it comes back as there is a ton of information embedded in the site.
How do you like your T7 so far?

Thanks. Yea, I'm on the other forum as well. It's a good one. He (Cruzin or something?) runs an FZ07 forum that is also down. Hopefully he didn't decide it was too much trouble. Lots of good info on advrider too if you are not already there.

I love the T-7. Like I said, way more manageable off road than the BMW. The GS is clearly better for long distance on the highway but the T-7 is not bad. I'll likely upgrade the seat and I've done a few other mods to dial it in to my liking but overall it does exactly what I wanted.
