Ditto, I sort of disappeared from the forum years ago after trading my tried & true S10 off on a F650GS Dakar model- much lighter and easy to handle in the ruff stuff, but after a time I noticed that the Rotax was rather 'hi-strung' and it just wasn't cut out for the big highway as it was cursed with a 5 speed. This had it wound up rather tight at 70mph. I guess Rotax/BMW just couldn't fathom our long stretches of road over here. I sold the thing a couple of weeks ago to finance a T7 venture and now am in the middle of a quandary with a local Yama-dealer (and ready to throw rocks at another one) so the situation is in limbo for now. Needless to say, Yamaha Japan and Corporate HQ Usa are about to hear from me regarding sales departments.
