My default ride when I dont have a definite plan for an excursion out is to ride across to Slieve Gullion in Northern Ireland.
I can see the top of the low mountain from my front door.....it's about thirty miles if you're a crow.

A half hours ride gets me near to the mountains.....

Great day for a ride out. Grey skies lifted and nice dry roads for a change.
A bit chilly at 3°c but the newly installed Oxford Heated Grips worked well.

Nice long views as you ride across Slieve Gullion.

Putting a few miles towards the bikes 1st service....

Close to 600kms on the bike so far and I'm extremely pleased with this machine.

It's all that I hoped it'd be. Just waiting on some bolt-ons to arrive....

I think we'll be very happy together.......

There's derelict cottages across the mountain sides.
Must've been harsh in winter in times past.....

Nice weekend ride out.......

Very good pictures. I love the country side shots. Even better when there is a Tenere thrown in for good luck. It seems you're having some real enjoyment over there riding away. If we could just see a touch of warmth here the riding will start.
Thanks @Toppie
